Caroline Starling is a voice teacher based in Greenville, SC. Her extensive vocal knowledge and multi-genre capabilities make her a great asset to any aspiring singer. Her diverse history with singing allows her to teach many genres, ranging from pop/rock to jazz to musical theatre and classical voice.
She cut her teeth singing jazz and musical theatre/belt in high school at the Greenville Fine Arts Center, then cultivated her voice for pop, rock, and country while achieving her Music Industry degree from Francis Marion University, and finally, dug deeper into vocal pedagogy and operatic singing while earning her Masters of Music from Converse University.
Need help getting ready for an audition? In addition to offering long-term regular weekly lessons for the majority of her students, Caroline offers shorter-term rounds for Audition Prep*, which are great for upcoming auditions for arts programs, university programs, or musical/opera auditions.
Caroline is accepting students of all ages, voice types, and gender identities. At the end of the day, the voice is an instrument of the body; so, to study voice is to learn about yourself, which takes courage and vulnerability! At Starling Voice Studios, the goal is to honor that gift with an environment that’s safe, fun, and creates an atmosphere of curiosity and creativity.

In-home rate (located at your home or other meeting place): $80/hr* *potential additional $5/hr fee if more than 25 miles away from studio
